This artist just came up on billboard’s underground music video/interview (I tend to troll it) — Marni Kellison. She’s really, um, HOT and also quite charming in the video, and I bumped over to her myspace page and what I THINK is her old myspace from the duo she used to be in, and her music is really quite good. I’m actually totally hooked on the few songs I’ve been able to get my hands on (not that I’m a professional reviewer or anything. Just a mid twenties lesbian who procrastinates on the internet a lot). The links to the Billboard video and her my space are below.

    (the other myspace is http://www.myspace/marniandmelissa)

Anyway, I saw that you’re doing a music column for and I, for one, wouldn’t mind learning more about her.

    Hey Trish,

Thanks for posting the Kristi Martel interview on AfterEllen. I have been managing Kristi for over a year and she is really starting to take off. Two weeks ago, she was booked to headline at Yoshi’s San Fran, one of the world’s top Jazz venues, booked on the highly coveted Bonnie Simmons Show in Berkeley, and also on the Bay Area’s top Blues, Jazz, and Hip Hop Station, KPOO for an instudio performance. After years of building a steady career in the independent music world, Kristi has positioned herself, to be a huge hit in both the queer and mainstream music scenes.

I would love for you to check out her work: .
